Three ways we help

We take on systems that misbehave, hardware that needs designing and decisions that need a technical second opinion.

Remote troubleshooting

Hardware, firmware and integration failures, diagnosed remotely, on current systems and on legacy equipment that is undocumented, out of support or built on obsolete parts.

Send us logs, captures and photos; we find the root cause and tell you exactly what to change.

Format: Remote

For who

  • Teams with a field failure they can't reproduce.
  • Equipment past its vendor's support life, with missing documentation or a departed designer.
  • Products that pass on the bench and fail in use.
  • Integrations between old and new systems that nobody fully owns.

Deliverables

  • A root-cause finding.
  • A specific fix or test plan, including replacement paths for obsolete parts where needed.
  • A short written report that documents what you now know about the system.

Electronics design and implementation

From requirements to validated hardware: schematics, PCB layout, bring-up and test.

Format: Remote; bring-up and test happen in our own lab

For who

  • Products moving from a dev kit to a custom board.
  • Existing designs that need a revision or a respin around obsolete parts.
  • Teams that need a board brought up and tested.

Deliverables

  • Schematics and layout files.
  • BOM.
  • Bring-up and test report.
  • Design notes.

Ideation and consultation

Early technical direction. Feasibility, architecture, part and protocol selection, and a plan you can execute yourselves or with us.

Format: Remote

For who

  • Ideas at the feasibility or early-prototype stage.
  • Teams choosing between protocols, parts or architectures.
  • Projects that want a second opinion before committing to a design.

Deliverables

  • A written recommendation with the trade-offs made explicit.

Engagement process

  1. Understand

We start with what the system is, what goes wrong and what you have already tried.

  2. Clarify

We narrow it down to a root cause or a clear set of requirements, and agree what done looks like.

  3. Deliver

You get the fix, the design or the plan, with a written record of what we found.

Working with us

How an engagement is set up. Prices and terms are agreed per project.

  1. We send a written quote and statement of work (SOW): scope, deliverables, timeline, milestones and price.
  2. Work starts once the SOW and our master services agreement are signed and the deposit is received.
  3. Changes in scope go through a written change order before any extra work is done.

Not sure which one fits? Describe the problem and we will tell you.
